Alternating exhibition on the ground floor

»Wild chickens, rough Füẞe - The Raufuẞhühner of the world«

On the first floor, the Salzkammergut Nature Museum presents the exhibition "Wild chickens, rough feet - the grouse of the world" until September 30, 2023. In large display cases, the exhibition shows various grouse in their habitats, including the native capercaillie, black grouse, hazel grouse and ptarmigan. The elaborately designed dioramas are complemented by large-format information panels.

The exhibit will be on display from May 4 through September 30, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and there is no charge to visit.
