From the Wimbachbrücke parking lot, follow the hiking trail to the Wimbachklamm gorge and turn right above it onto hiking trail 61. Follow this trail to the Seeklause parking lot at Hintersee. Continue along the eastern shore on hiking trail 62 in the direction of Wartstein. There you walk along Triebenbachstraße to Bindenkreuz, where you finally turn right and walk along Alte Reichenhaller Straße and Kunterweg to the village center. Now simply follow the footpath back to the Wimbach bridge.
From the Hammerstiel parking lot, the route follows the signposted hiking trail 445 to the Grünsteinhütte, where the forest thins out to reveal a view of the Hagen Mountains and Königssee. A detour to the Grünstein summit (1,304 meters above sea level) is worthwhile in any case. Back at the Grünsteinhütte, trail no. 445a continues through sparse forest to the idyllically situated Kühroint-Alm at the foot of the Watzmann. From the alp you hike south across the alpine meadow and later a short distance through the forest to the Archenkanzel. There you have a breathtaking view over the Steinerne Meer and down to the Königssee. Back the way leads from the Kühroint-Alm on the cleared Kührointstraße the hiking trail 442 to the turnoff to Hammerstiel. There you turn right to get back to the starting point. Alternatively, you can also walk back along the same route.
About 350 meters along the road behind the national park information point you will find a crossroads, where you turn right onto the signposted hiking trail to Halsalm. After about 45 minutes, the forest clears and gives you a view of the surrounding rock faces of the Reiter Alm (Reiteralpe) and the Hochkalter. The destination of your hike is the Halsalm, located in a small saddle (not managed in winter). There you can enjoy the sun and a fantastic view of the Hintersee and the Ramsau valley basin in the morning, even in the cold season. The way back is via the same route.
A few meters after the national park information point, leave the asphalt road and follow hiking trail 481 past the eagle observation point until you reach the crossroads at the Lahnwald service hut. Continue straight ahead until you reach the next intersection after about 700 meters and follow the marked hiking trail up a slight incline. Keep left just before the road and follow the path to the suspension bridge. From there you can take the same path back or walk along the Hirschbichlstraße back to the starting point.
Starting point is the parking lot Hinterbrand, continue on the hiking trail 497. In a good 600 meters you reach the first intersection and keep right, following the hiking trail in the direction of the snowmaking pond. From there you continue to the Königsbachalm. Here you turn left and follow the signs in the direction of the Schneibsteinhaus on hiking trail 498. After a little more than two kilometers, you will pass the Bärenwand and reach the Schneibsteinhaus. From there you follow hiking trail 499 below the Torrener Joch until you finally arrive at the summit station of the Jennerbahn. The cable car then takes you comfortably to the middle station and from there back to the Hinterbrand parking lot without any problems.
From the starting point at the Wimbach bridge, first follow hiking trail 441 in the direction of the Watzmannhaus. Just after the bridge, keep to the right and after about 500 meters you will reach a forest road, which you leave after another 200 meters to the right into the dense spruce forest. Following the path, you come directly to the Stubenalm. This is located in a large clearing on the north side of the Watzmann massif. From here you have a wonderful view of the Watzmann, Hagengebirge and Göll. The descent leads east down to the Schapbach. At the Schapbach junction, take the first turnoff to the left and follow the cleared Kühroint road back to the Wimbach bridge.
