Digital discovery tours through the national park

Join us on our exciting discovery tours through the national park. Here you can explore our national park together with us and yet completely independently. How does that work? With your smartphone!

The following tours are available:

Klausbachhaus in winter
  • Discover the Klausbach valley with us! On a short hike to the wildlife feeding station, you will get to know animal tracks and learn a lot about the winter nature of the national park.
  • Duration: approx. 45 minutes.
  • open during the winter months (approx. Dec-March)
  • This Actionbound is for curious children and adults who are young at heart.

 

Klausbachhaus in summer
  • Discover the nature of the national park during your hike to the suspension bridge. We will discover many things together and solve tricky puzzles.
  • Duration: approx. 1.5 hours.
  • open during the summer months (approx. April-October)
  • This Actionbound is for curious children and adults who are young at heart.

 

Wimbachgries with drawings
  • Would you like to go on a journey? Whether through the gorge or past it, Bergerl and Isolde will show you their home - the Wimbach Valley! In the gorge, you can explore a very special habitat. If you hike up to Wimbach Castle, you can even go on a treasure hunt with them.
  • Duration: The gorge tour takes approx. 1 hour and to Wimbach Castle (easy route, refreshments available there) approx. 2 hours.

  • This actionbound is for curious children and adults who are young at heart.

 

Wimbachgries with drawings
  • Would you like to solve some puzzles with our Bergerl all the way to Wimbach Castle? Can you beat the other visitors with your knowledge? Collect points for every correct answer and become National Park Champion! By the way: You can play the game whether you walk through the gorge or not.
  • Duration: approx. 2 hours
  • Open during the summer months (approx. May-October)
  • This Actionbound is for children aged 10 and over or adults who are young at heart.

 

Palfenhörner
  • Let the National Park team accompany you through the Wimbach Valley. In 9 short videos you will get a brief insight into various aspects of the nature of the Wimbach Valley and our work in the National Park.
  • The videos can be viewed in different order and are therefore not tied to specific locations. Duration of the individual videos: approx. 1 minute each
  • available in the summer months (approx. May-October)
  • This Actionbound is for young people and adults.

 

It all starts with downloading the Actionbound app onto your smartphone and then scanning the QR code on site (free Wi-Fi at the Hintersee and Wimbachbrücke information points)
