National Park Research

Research and monitoring is a central objective of Berchtesgaden National Park. In particular, our national park is an important reference area for natural and unimpeded ecosystem dynamics. Research and monitoring are conducted in close cooperation with the Technical University of Munich and are embedded in Bavarian, national and international research networks.
