Birthday party in the mountains

Released bearded vultures return to Berchtesgaden National Park

In keeping with the fifth year of the joint reintroduction project of the Bavarian nature conservation association LBV (Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz) and the Berchtesgaden National Park, the majority of the Bavarian bearded vultures are currently back in the immediate vicinity of the national park. “Five out of seven vultures have been within a few kilometers of the Königssee since the beginning of March and fly together in changing constellations through the mountains”.
