Netiquette for the social media channels of Berchtesgaden National Park

Instagram, Facebook, YouTube

Dear friends of Berchtesgaden National Park, we look forward to your comments and valuable contributions. Please observe the following commenting rules:

1. respectful discussion

We want to treat each other with respect! So please make sure you use a fair and polite tone. After all, it is not virtual personalities who are discussing here, but real people.

Comments that contain insults, sexist or racist remarks will be deleted. The same applies to posts containing vulgar, insulting or hateful language. Comments that violate the rights of third parties (e.g. copyrights) will also be deleted.

2. consider the topic

Comments should relate to the Berchtesgaden National Park and the post commented on. In the interests of all users, we reserve the right to delete posts that do not meet this criterion.

3. no advertising or illegal content

The social media pages of Berchtesgaden National Park are not an advertising space. Comments that refer to homepages, services or commercial or private providers of goods or services will be deleted. The same applies to content that violates applicable law.

4. correct citation

If you use quotations, please cite the source or originator and quote correctly.

5 Responsibility of the users

The respective authors are responsible for user comments, not the National Park Authority. In the case of comments eligible for copyright protection, the copyright generally remains with the author. However, by posting a comment, the author authorizes the National Park Authority to permanently store and archive the comment on its website. The National Park Authority may delete, edit, move or close topics and content.

6. ultimate responsibility of the operator

As the operator of our social media pages, we cannot tolerate the violation of these commenting guidelines and therefore reserve the right to delete comments without giving reasons. By participating on the web presence of the National Park Authority, you acknowledge these guidelines.

7. the general laws and legal regulations apply

Violations of general laws and regulations will result in exclusion from the discussion. Legal action may be taken if necessary.
